The program is available without charge on the website of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), a not-for-profit public interest organization, formed by three non-profits, APWA, ACEC, and ASCE.
ISI exists for the sole purpose of helping the public sector, at all levels of government, make better and more sustainable decisions regarding horizontal infrastructure projects and systems. The Institute works closely with private sector firms and communities in the planning, design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure.
This presentation will provide an understanding of the need for a rating system for civil infrastructure and build on sustainable infrastructure discussions. An introduction to the Envision rating system will be provided, and the audience will learn how to access the Envision rating tools.
