Olathe Middle School Science Night

ASCE had a classroom full of activities to demonstrate civil engineering to middle school students. We showcased everything that Civil Engineering has to offer including our bridge activity (large cable stayed bridge), starburst shake table (tooth pick structure creation), a geotechnical activity (geotech sand box and powerpoint), and a water/environmental activity (ice cream environmental remediation).  We also had an awesome volunteer turnout for the event at Santa Fe Trail Middle School in Olathe.
