JoCo Gateway Project Presentation

Burt Morey (KDOT) and Joe Brand (HNTB) gave a presentation on the Johnson County Gateway project. The presentation discussed the different phases of the project and the decision process behind selecting the winning design-build team.

After the Harvest Clean-Up

Following the apple farmers’ harvesting, “After the Harvest” teams helped farmers harvest what remained and donated to over 195 food pantries. This event was held at Cider Hill Orchard, 3341 N. 139th Street, Kansas City, KS, and 6 YMG members attended.

STEM in the GYM – Raytown Central Middle School

STEM in the GYM is a fun way to bring engineering to a new generation! We will have a table with at least one hands on activity to teach the kids about Civil Engineering. We are currently working to build some fun and exciting activities that are sure to capture the attention of everyone. Join us on Thursday November 13 from 6 to 8 pm in the gymnasium at Raytown Central Middle School (10601 E. 59th st. Raytown, MO 64133.)
